Automatic game recognition tool by AI

We are currently developing an AI-powered game recognition tool. Instead of relying only on file paths and names, it uses machine learning to detect when a game is running and what type of game it is.

This lets us make smarter decisions about when to stop gameplay. we are aiming to avoid cutting sessions during crucial moments like competitive matches or boss fights, while still respecting time limits.

This automatic game identification feature could be accessible to others as well via an API that we are developing.

If you are interested in collaborating or testing this feature, please reach out. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Game Limiter API - Integration for Responsible and Player-Friendly Gaming

We are developing an API designed specifically for the gaming industry, enabling game developers and backend service providers to connect directly to Game Limiter and access a player´s individual settings in real time.

Through this integration, developers can take over the warning and shutdown processes, making them a seamless and natural part of the gameplay experience, flexible, customizable, and far less intrusive to the player.

Games that integrate with our API and comply with our certification standards will earn the Game Limiter Certified label, a signal to players and parents that the studio respects healthy gaming limits such as playtime, screen time, spending, age, and content restrictions.

Our system ensures that warnings and shutdowns never interrupt critical or emotionally intense moments, such as boss fights or competitive matches, where interruptions could cause unnecessary frustration or penalties.

The API is also designed to cooperate smoothly with competitive games and anti-cheat systems, avoiding false detections from our AI-based gameplay recognition module.

By connecting to the Game Limiter API, developers help build a gaming ecosystem that is more responsible, player-aware, and parent-trusted, without compromising on immersion or fun.
